Access Wellbeing Weymouth & Portland

The Weymouth & Portland hub is staffed by trained wellbeing coordinators.

Support will always be provided in the first instance by the wellbeing coordinators, but the hub team work closely with other services and charities, to link you to the right support and help.

Other activities at Hope House include art groups, a women’s group, yoga groups, and support for older people. Other services and charities will also be present at the hub at different times, including local mental health charities, NHS mental health services, other advice services and social prescribers.

How the hub works

Access Wellbeing Weymouth & Portland is run by the Lantern Trust, working closely with BCHA, NHS Dorset and Dorset HealthCare, as well as other Dorset charities and community groups.

Community based support

The Lantern Trust is already known for its crisis and recovery hubs in Weymouth – the Access Wellbeing hub enables wider access to a ‘whole person’ support offer, including co-facilitated support groups delivered by wellbeing coordinators and trained mental health workers.

Access Wellbeing Weymouth & Portland will also provide outreach support within the local communities of both Weymouth and Portland.
