You don’t need an appointment to visit the Boscombe hub – just drop-in anytime between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. The hub is on the main bus route to Bournemouth town centre and is two miles from Bournemouth train station. You’ll find the hub on Palmerston Road, almost opposite Boscombe’s Royal Arcade.
The Boscombe hub is staffed by trained wellbeing co-ordinators.
Drop-in support will always be provided in the first instance by the wellbeing co-ordinators, but the hub teams work closely with other services and charities, to link you to the right support and help.
Other services will also be present at the hub at different times, including local mental health charities, NHS mental health services, advice services and social prescribers.
Access Wellbeing Boscombe is managed by BCHA, working in partnership with Help & Care, The Lantern Trust, NHS Dorset and Dorset HealthCare – as well as community mental health teams, other charities and voluntary sector organisations.
We are proud to share our first Access Wellbeing impact report, which highlights the difference our new services have made since we opened the doors to our first hub.
Our Access Wellbeing hubs in Boscombe, Poole and Weymouth hosted drop-in grief cafes for National Grief Awareness Week (2-8 December) giving visitors the chance to access support and advice in a friendly, welcoming space.
